Start with the ground and the route
Look at where you enter the yard and where you want to go. Changes in level, awkward turns and narrow paths affect everyday use. Your inquiry can include the routes that frustrate you now, along with photos of existing steps, walls and paved areas.
Choose a surface for its job
A dining terrace, garden path and driveway serve different purposes. Compare the appearance you prefer with the way the area will be used, the amount of upkeep you want and the conditions on site. Samples can help you judge color and texture alongside the materials already on your home.

Consider water before the final layout
A paved surface changes how a space functions. Drainage, transitions at the house and the relationship to surrounding grades need attention before the surface is installed. Retaining walls and significant level changes may also involve site-specific engineering or approvals.
Repair, replace or rethink
Uneven concrete does not automatically mean the whole yard needs to change. Describe the movement you have noticed and any nearby drainage issues. Concrete leveling, replacement and a broader redesign are different conversations; the right scope starts with understanding the existing condition.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Before we break ground.
Do you work with both stone and concrete?
Yes. Stonework, concrete installations, patios and walkways are part of the service offering.
Can a retaining wall be part of a larger design?
Yes. Include it early so the wall, access, planting and surrounding spaces can be considered together.
